Fire resistant elements

Fire-resistant transfer grilles are used in walls and doors where air needs to pass from one room to another while maintaining fire compartmentation. Their performance is based on an intumescent material that expands when exposed to heat. In the event of a fire, the grille blades fuse together to form a non-combustible barrier, preventing the passage of flames and hot gases. Solid Air International fire-resistant transfer grilles have been extensively tested and classified in accordance with EN 1634-1, EN 1364-1 and EN 1364-2, and are classified to EN 13501-2. They provide a reliable solution for maintaining fire integrity while allowing effective airflow between adjacent spaces.
